Known for his ‘Jagajyothi Basaveshwara’ stage play the nonagenarian Enagi Balappa that is all time favorite of Uttar Kannada region come down from Belgaum to address the media on his third film in the career spanning eight decades in stage plays.

The 97 years stiff and solid Enagi Balappa acted in ‘Madi Madidhavaru’ of Basavaraj Kattimani later when Dr Rajakumar insisted he appeared in ‘Janumadha Jodi’. Our colleague veteran AS Murthy honored Enagi Balappa with a shawl and garland. Murthy recalled the ‘Huchcha’ play he had written in his younger days and given it to Enagi Balappa that later became a super hit play.
